Our Pledge

We pledge to protect and serve our clients 24 hours per day and 365 days per year.  In the event of an emergency, your clients and their property are our first concern.  Unlike police officers who are obligated to serve the community first, we focus on the immediate needs of your clients and resolve their problems swiftly and professionally. We encourage our clients to become involved in their own security and safety through customized in-house training programs.  We provide training on the safe practices that should be used in the event of an emergency situation.  By following these guidelines, our clients will minimize the potential for injury and allow emergency response personnel to take control of the scene more effectively. We also provide an ongoing training on such topics as building search plans, pedestrian traffic, crowd control and bomb threat procedures to individuals designated as floor wardens.

Chief Of Security

The President and Chief of Security for PCRS is Terry L. Focareta.  Focareta has an extensive background in law enforcement having served 30 years as a police officer including Patrolman, Sergeant, Detective, and Chief of Police.  He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State Police Academy, Penn State University Police Executive Course, and Police Command School taught by the Pennsylvania Municipal Police Officers Education & Training Commission. Focareta has been with PCRS since 2002 and has set the standards for which the company is known and respected.

Private Investigations

Terry Focareta is a licensed private investigator. Terry spent over 12 years as a police detective so his training and experience translate well into the private sector. PCRS can assist you in every arena including employee theft, background investigations, insurance fraud and more. You can rest assured that confidentiality is our top priority. Couple our human resources with state of the art technology and we have you covered, whatever your investigative needs may be.

Security

At the heart of our services are the men and women who have pledged to protect and serve our clients.  These uniformed security officers are of the highest caliber.  Their commanding presence deters crime and reassures your employees and tenants that PCRS is here for their protection.  In addition, their pleasant personalities and professional demeanor make them ideal goodwill ambassadors for your organization. We select only the most qualified officers who have prior certification for ACT 120 (police academy training) and/or ACT 235 (state training for security officers).  An in-depth background check further confirms each officer's compatibility with our stringent hiring guidelines. All new officers must undergo an intense, in-house training program regardless of their experience in the security field.  This training ensures that our clients are protected by an elite corps of officers who are current in the most advanced security measures and procedures available today.

Executive Protection

PCRS has provided executive protection for many high profile clients such as General Tommy Franks and recording artists Montgomery Gentry. We are able to offer you a variety of options for your protection such as armed plain clothes security officers, armed uniformed officers or unarmed uniformed officers. If Executive Protection in a discreet manner is what you need, we excel at "becoming invisible" while we are right beside our clients. Video Surveillance

PCRS has invested deeply into the latest state of the art surveillance equipment. We are able to offer a multitude of video surveillance options with real time monitoring and recording including highly visible to completely covert surveillance systems. A major benefit to remote recording is simple - your surveillance footage is stored in an undisclosed location so that in the event a criminal would break into your building and even destroy your cameras, we will be able to pull up the video instantly. PCRS assists state, county, and local law enforcement agencies on a regular basis. We frequently have the only record of a criminal activity and have led to the successful arrest and prosecution of criminals.
